This January 2021 saw some incredible generosity from the people of Cornwall. A client referred to us through social services was in hospital and about to have a C-Section. On discharge she was due to move into her new accommodation but literally had nothing in the house at all, not even a bed, carpets or cot for the new baby. After having launched an emergency appeal, a team from Hidden Help, following COVID-19 regulations, went into the new flat, transforming it for her arrival. Local florists delivered flowers, Food Banks donated food, Baby Basics donated baby equipment and there was such a feeling of coming together. Everything that you see in the pictures was donated by local people to help local people. This is a great example of how we work at Hidden Help…together with others to serve the most vulnerable of our communities. Mum and baby daughter are doing well!
